Patricia Wheatley Lubic, 45, of La Plata died Dec. 10, 2006, at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C.

Born Aug. 16, 1961, in La Plata, Ms. Lubic was the daughter of Richard Harry Wheatley and the late Diana "Kay" Wheatley.
She was a construction worker. Known as a small-town girl, Ms. Lubic enjoyed the simple pleasures of home, family, fishing, and playing with friends and family. She also enjoyed doing crafts and trying new ones, reading romance novels, cooking and baking angel food cake.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her daughters, Katherine Helene Lubic Boyd, Diana Elizabeth Lubic, and Stephanie Michelle Lubic; sister, Christine Diane McKamey; brothers, Richard Clarence Wheatley and Richard Harry Wheatley Jr., grandchild, Athton Riley Clemons; sisters-in-law, Shelly Wheatley and Kay Wheatley; and nieces and nephews, Tara Colleen McKamey, Lonnie Arthur McKamey, Sarah Anne Wheatley, Richard Clarence Wheatley, Jr. and Mary Lynne Wheatley.
