Darren Lee Anderson, 18 of Mechanicsville MD died in an auto accident on December 1, 2006 in Mechanicsville, MD.

Born in Mechanicsville at home on January 12, 1988. He attended Lettie Dent Elementary and was a graduate from Chopticon High School in 2006. Darren did extremely well throughout his school years. He always made Honor Roll. During his high school years, he took carpentry at the Tech Center and was top in his class. Darren went to work with DMAR of Upper Marlboro, MD as a yard Supervisor. He also had a deep love for the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, loved to fish & crab. Darren also had such a passion in helping others often putting his own needs aside. Darren's love for his family and friends is untouchable.

Survived by his parents, Daniel Lee and Denise Lynn Shanks Anderson, brother, Derrick Lyle Anderson, and brother & sister-in-law, David Llyod and Amanda Shockey Anderson, Grandmother, Ellen Grabs Anderson and Doris Dufour Rangel, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family will receive friends today, Wednesday, December 6, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. with prayers recited at 7 p.m. in Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD where Funeral Services will also be held on Thursday, December 7, 2006 at 10 a.m. Pastor Robert Kyner will be officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
