Robin Ann Adams of Indian Head, MD, died on Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at Fort Washington Hospital in Fort Washington, MD. She was 53 years old.

Born on June 15, 1956, in Panama City, FL, she is the daughter of Alice Elizabeth and Joseph Francis Hanson Sr.

Mrs. Adams was a school bus driver for Compton Bus Company for 13 years. Always a homebody and was always a people person. She enjoyed crafts, music, camping, being with family and friends and loved her dog "Nikki". She loved children, especially her special friend, Tyler. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the First Baptist Church of La Plata.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Louise Hanson.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, John William Adams; brothers, Joseph F. Hanson Jr. of Indian Head, MD; Leonard L. Hanson of La Plata, MD; niece, Tressa Nicole Hanson; nephew, Jason Adam Wheeler; in-laws, Helen and William Adams; brother-in-law, Gerald B. Wheeler; sister-in-law, Marlene Ann Wheeler; and many, many cousins, uncles and aunts.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2009, from 4PM to 8PM with Prayers at 7PM at the Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2009, beginning at 11AM at the Raymond Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Wendell Stokes officiating. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
