Donald Patrick Oliver, 76, of Cobb Island, MD passed away at Civista Medical Center on July 11, 2009.

He is preceded in death by his Father; James O. Oliver and Mother; Mable Oliver, and Wife; Gloria Oliver and Brothers and Sisters; Carol Ann Oliver, Alma Weidmayer, Hazel Crismond, Doris Prange, Ruth Hayden, Cecial Oliver, and Ambrose Oliver.

He is survived by his Daughter; Connie Bowling (James), Brothers; Eddie Oliver, and Merle Oliver. Sister-in-Law; Maria Owens. 8 Grandchildren.

Donald Oliver graduated from La Plata High School, was a member of the Cobb Island VFD, loved Music, and was particuarly fond of playing the Guitar and listening to Country Music. He was a Veteran of the Korean War.

A life celebration will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2009 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm at the AREHART-ECHOLS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. with prayers at 7 pm. A Mass will follow the following day on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 10 am at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Issue, MD. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Cobb Island VFD and Rescue Squad.
