Natalie Tsonev, 88, of Cobb Island, MD passed away at Civista Medical Center on July 12, 2009.

She is preceded in death by her Parents; Gregory Bondar and Olga Bondar, Husband; Valentin Tsonev, and Sister; Kira Bondar.

She is survived by her Grandson; Ricky Bradshaw (Carla). Great Grandchild; Little Ricky Bradshaw. Close friends; Ruth Swann, Vangie Welch, Steve Hall, and Nancy Hall.

Natalie worked for the Amerika Magazine. Was the head Librarian for the Southern Maryland area for a number of years. She loved Nature, sunsets, sking, skating, swimming and reading and sewing. She loved her Church which was the St. Thomas Orthodox Church in Waldorf, MD. She received her B.A. from Columbia in New York and then her Masters from UNC. She became a citizen of the United States in 1957 after coming from Ukraine.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2009 from 9 am until time of Service at 10 am at the St. Thomas Orthodox Church in Waldorf, MD. Interment will follow on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 1 pm at the Russian Orthodox Convent in Spring Valley, NY. Memorials may be made to the St. Thomas Orthodox Church.
