Janice Kay Garner, 61 of Lexington Park, MD died on December 2, 2006 at her residence.

Born on September 16, 1945 in Chelan, Washington, she was the daughter of Wayne & Flora Mae Vinerore Ashberger. She was an Avon Sales Representative for 29 years.

Survived by her husband, Russell Andrew Garner, Sr. whom she married on September 4, 1964, children, Christina M. Bellinger of Greensboro, NC, Russell A. Garner, Jr. of Pinetta, FL, and Becki L. Ritchie of Redding, CA, Sister's, Linda Holmason, Peggy Friend, Steven Ashburger, and David Ashburger, all of OR. Five grandchildren also survive her Amanda, Benjamin, Hannah and Isaiah Ritchie; also Russell Garner III.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 7, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. in The Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD where a Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2006. Interment will follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD at 3 p.m.

Serving as Pallbearers will be: Jeremy Bellinger, Dan Shaunnessy, David Saunders, and William Owens.
