Marci Lee Erwin, age 42, of Mandeville, LA, formerly of Falls Church, VA. and of Huntingtown, MD, died on March 9, 2009 after fighting courageously and with dignity for two years against bone cancer. She was born September 14, 1966 in Falls Church, VA.

Marci was an all-star hockey goalie at Northern High School and graduated with the class of 1984. She also served as Secretary for both her senior class and the student council while at Northern. She was a successful business woman who resided in Mandeville, LA for the past six years.

She is survived by her children, Charley Jon and Bethany Ann Hubbard, parents Tracy and Debbie Erwin of Huntingtown and Regina and Tom Taft of Mandeville, grandmother Eva Clark, siblings Terri Erwin of Mandeville, Jim Ellis of Abingdon, MD, Rick Ellis of Huntingtown, Rob Taft, Callie Simpson and Sarah Taft. Marci also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
