Wilma Jean Fajans of Cobb Island, MD, died on Friday, June 26, 2009 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, MD. She was 73 years old.

Born on December 23, 1935 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Turner Snapp and the late Glenn Snapp. She attended La Plata High School and graduated from there with the Class of '53. She worked as a Software Engineer for GRD Inc. Mrs. Fajans was a member of the Cobb Island Yacht Club and enjoyed cross stitching and arranging silk and dried flowers for various corporate customers. She was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sons, the late Jeffrey Mattingly and the late Charles Mattingly.

She is survived by her husband J. Roger Fajans and other loving relatives and friends.

Service and interment will be private.
