Lawrence Frank Kopec, 92 of LaPlata, MD died on December 8, 2006 in Charles County Nursing Center.

He was born on august 5, 1914 in Haverhill, MA to the late John Andrew and Katherine Skiba Kopec.

He worked as a machinist for Davis and Fuber Machine Co. for 47 years before retirement in 1982. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was survived by his daughter Carol Burgess and her husband Ross and three grandchildren. He has two sisters; Rose Ross of Haverhill, MA, and Veronica Krafton of Deland, FL.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Wanda Kmiec Kopec.
