Mr. Morris was a Grocery Manager for Giant Food Stores for 20 years. He was very active in his church, Free Will Baptist Church, now Open Gate Ministries in Waldorf, MD. He loved playing jokes on people and was known as a kind-hearted person. He loved watching movies, playing video games, and going to amusement parks.

He was son of the late Donald K. Morris and the living Denise and Richard Pearson.

He was predeceased by his father.

He is survived by his mother, Denise Bratcher Pearson of White Plains, MD, step-father, Richard Pearson of White Plains, MD, one brother, Daryl R. Pearson of White Plains, MD, three sisters, Dina (Rob) LeJeune of Mechanicsville, MD, Doni Morris Foote of Mechanicsville, MD, and Krystal M. Pearson of White Plains, MD, and paternal grandmother, Patricia Pearson. Also survived by four nephews, Kyle, Aidan, and Rylan LeJeune and Jaxon Foote, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Visitation will take place on Monday, June 8, 2009 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 11am at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

Clergy will be the Rev. Mark Roberson.

Interment will follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
