Timothy Dwight Norton, 60 of St. Leonard, MD, passed away at home on June 3, 2009.

Tim was born August 7, 1948, in Washington DC to Gertrude Lorraine Smith Norton and the late Robert Virgil Norton. He moved to Calvert County, 15 years ago from Odenton, MD. He was a member of Steamfitters Local #602, working in the Heating and AC Field for most of his life. He was a member of Jesus the Divine Word Catholic Church in Huntingtown, MD. Tim loved hunting, fishing and just enjoyed the country life.

Tim is survived by his wife, Julie E. Norton of St. Leonard, father of, Candice Jayne Norton-Heard of Odenton, MD, Jason Elliott Norton of Severn, MD., Holly Linnette Norton of Odenton, MD., Timothy Dwight Norton, Jr. of Odenton, MD, Amy Denton of St. Leonard, MD and Kelly Cable of St. Leonard, MD. Tim is also survived by his mother, Gertrude Lorraine Hilgenberg, of Odenton, MD, sisters JoAnn Lorraine Norton of Deland FL., Sherree Darlene Bolyard of Edgewater, MD, brother Robert Wayne Norton of LaPlata, MD and 11 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday June 12, 2009 from 9:30- 11 A.M. at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD. Mass of Christian burial will follow, 12 noon, at Jesus the divine Word Catholic Church, Huntingtown MD. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Calvert Hospice.
