David Bielawski, 74, of Ridge, MD died December 1, 2006 at his residence.

Born January 31, 1932 in Paris, France, he was the son of the late Henri Bielawski and Frances Lane Bielawski. Mr. Bielawski was a graduate of George Washington University Law School. After graduation he joined and later became a partner of the former law firm, Smith, Somerville, and Case in Baltimore, MD. His practice concentrated on corporate and tax related matters.

He is survived by his wife, Christa L. Bielawski of Ridge, MD, four children; Christopher Bielawski of Denver, CO, Julia Bielawski of Minneapolis, MN, Mark Schaeffer of Street, MD, and Mary Ellen Borland of Leonardtown, MD, a brother; Cedric Bielawski of Berryville, VA, and six grandchildren; Alex, David, Erik, John, Brian, and Katie.

A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, St. Mary's City, MD. The Reverend John A. Ball will be conducting the service. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery.
