With heavy hearts we announce that LeRoy Tippett 67, of Marshall Hall, Maryland passed away on April 20, 2026. Born Joseph LeRoy Tippett on February 02,1959.

Raised on a tobacco farm, LeRoy learned the value of hard work from an early age--a lesson that shaped the way he lived his life. He carried that same dedication into everything he did, whether it was caring for his family, helping a neighbor or tending to his own beautiful oasis on Penguin Place. That same work ethic lead him to owning his own paint company for many years. He developed his talents in construction and home improvements to include an expansive range of skillsets. He was a master craftsman who took great pride in his work and the relationships with his customers. Later he found himself as the Chief Engineer at Colony South till retirement.

Known for his easygoing nature, quick wit and a deep love for the outdoors, LeRoy found joy in simple pleasures: fishing along the Potomac, camping, swapping stories around a campfire and sharing a good meal, a cold beer and a drinky-drink with friends and family. He held dear the many travel memories he made with his wife Nancy and Grannie and PopPops. His generosity and loyalty left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. LeRoy had a way of bringing joy into ordinary moments with his laughter and sense of humor. He cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Nancy, daughter Airen and Son Brandon. Granddaughter Grace, Grandson Owen.
