Mary "Estelle" Pilkerton, 55, of Leonardtown, Maryland, passed away on April 15, 2026.

She was born on November 5, 1970, in Maryland, to the late Michael Aloysius Pilkerton and Mary Cook.

Estelle spent her life rooted in the community she loved. She dedicated many years of her life as a hairdresser, working in the beauty industry where she was known for her warmth, conversation, and ability to make others feel cared for and confident.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Roger Warren Buckler III (Brooke) and Derek Anthony Buckler (Heather); her grandchildren, Mia Buckler, Ayden Buckler, Lola Buckler, Sutton Buckler, Ella Buckler, and Avery Buckler; her half-brothers, Joseph Goldsborough and Billy Goldsborough; her mother-in-law, Janet "Triggie" Draper; and father-in-law, Roger Buckler, Sr.

Estelle was preceded in death by her life partner, Roger Buckler, Jr., as well as her parents, Michael and Mary.

Estelle will be remembered for her lifelong presence in her community, her love for family, especially her grandchildren whom she cared for after her retirement, and the simple, meaningful connections she made throughout her life. Her legacy lives on in the lives of her children and grandchildren, who will carry forward her memory with love.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m, with Prayers beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Rd. Leonardtown, MD 20650. Interment will be private.
