It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Harry William Arnold, 84, of Charlotte Hall, Maryland, passed away on April 14, 2026.

Born on June 7, 1941, he was the son of the late Harry and Stella Arnold. Harry proudly served his country in the United States Navy and later built a career as a warehouse manager for Safeway.

On June 10, 1967, Harry married the love of his life, Connie Jean, and together they shared 59 years of marriage, building a life centered on family, laughter, and service. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose presence will be deeply missed.

Harry was a faithful member of Hughesville Baptist Church, where he volunteered his time in many ways, including singing in the choir, maintaining the lawn,and supporting the food pantry. His church community was an important part of his life, and he found great joy in caring for others through his faith.

In his free time, Harry enjoyed bowling, camping, maintaining a beautiful lawn, playing games with his family, and spending time with the Bible. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family.

In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Arnold.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Connie Jean Arnold; his children,Donna Koliopoulos (Jason) of Kent Island, MD, Harry Arnold (Tara) of Newburg, MD, April Crandall (Jeremy) of Poquoson, VA, Bill-Lee Sloan (Lisa) of Denton, TX, and Mark Sloan (Ronda) of Freemont, NE; his grandchildren, Lauren, Steven, Joey, Haley, Ryan, Cameron, Lincoln, William, Bradley, Brandon, John Wayne, Johnathan, Jackson, and Christopher; as well as ten great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Harry's life on Thursday, April 23, at Hughesville Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Pastor Bill Eddins. Luncheon to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Hughesville Baptist Church's Food Pantry in Harry's honor. Donations can be made online

Harry's legacy of love, faith, and service will live on in all who knew him.
