We honor the life of Jennie Sue Page, 78, of Hollywood, MD, who passed away March 22, 2026. Born on May 19, 1947, in Maryville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Jay and Nellie Newman.

Jennie lived a life defined above all by her love for Jesus and her love for her family and friends. She dedicated her retirement years to being a doting mother, grandmother and great-grandmother surrounded by loved ones on her family farm. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1969. High school sweethearts, Jay and Jennie Page, were married March 29, 1969. Upon moving to Maryland, Jennie taught music at local elementary schools. She then spent the majority of her career working for the Department on Aging, providing exceptional support and care to seniors with a passion for those she worked with. Jennie, along with Jay, were partners in starting Leonardtown Baptist Church, where she served in many roles, such as pianist, organist, choir director, and youth group leader. She was a faithful servant to her Savior, family and community.

Jennie is survived by her husband, Jay Page; son, John Page (June); daughter, Jennifer Kreller (Joey); ten grandchildren, Christopher Plummer (Torrey), Amanda Plummer, Michael Page, Caroline Kreller, Abel Kreller, Crystal Valdez (Anthony), Amber Thorne (Steven), Anthony Castro, Nicole Maddox (Xavier), and Carmen Castro; twelve great-grandchildren, John Plummer, Arthur Plummer, Wednesday Shoer, Carter Hiben, Jaiden Hiben, Tripp Valdez, Olliana Valdez, August Thorne, Jordyn Giles, Damien Castro, Takoda Maddox, and Aniyah Maddox; brother Jerry Newman (Faye) and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jay and Nellie Newman; In-laws Chuck and Betty Page; niece, Kim Mann, and her youngest son Jason Page who passed at almost 4 years old and whom she now joyously rejoins.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM in the Leonardtown Baptist Church, Leonardtown, MD. Where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
