Wendy Lee Bartlett, age 59, of Solomons, Maryland, passed away on January 2, 2026.

Wendy was a loving mother, devoted grandmother, and a cherished sister, aunt, and friend. She was affectionately known as "Nana" not only to her grandchildren, but to extended family and loved ones who were lucky enough to feel her warmth, humor, and generosity of spirit.

She is survived by her son, Chris Bartlett (wife Veronica), and her daughter, Amber (husband John); her five beloved grandchildren, Christian, Maddy, Kara, Hunter, and CJ Bartlett, who were the light of her life; and her siblings, Sammy, Tammy, Toni, and Andrea. Wendy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Linda and Albert Beauregard.

For many years, Wendy worked as a waitress and cook at the Naughty Gull Restaurant in Solomons, Maryland, where she became a familiar and friendly face to coworkers and customers alike. She took pride in her work and truly enjoyed caring for others through food and conversation. Sadly, as her health declined, Wendy was no longer able to work. She battled ongoing health issues for many years with quiet strength and resilience, facing each challenge with determination and grace.

Wendy was known for her quick wit and contagious sense of humor. She found joy in life's simple pleasures—especially cooking for the people she loved. One of her most treasured traditions was baking Christmas cookies every year, filling the home with warmth, laughter, and sweet memories.

Music was another passion of Wendy's. She loved karaoke and had a special place in her heart for the women of country music, particularly the iconic voices of the 1980s like Dolly Parton and Patsy Cline—songs that mirrored her strength, heart, and enduring spirit.

Above all else, Wendy loved her family fiercely. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy, and being "Nana" was a role she embraced with pride, tenderness, and unconditional love.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Crossroads Church in St. Leonard, Maryland. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate the life of a woman whose love and laughter left a lasting mark on all who knew her.

For those who wish to send floral arrangements, these will be accepted by delivery to the church on Saturday, 1/10/2026, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Wendy will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
