John Wilson Buckler, Sr., 60, of Seneca, SC, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025, at his home.

A native of Leonardtown, MD, Mr. Buckler was the son of the late Elmer Francis Buckler, Jr. and Hattie Marie Higgs Buckler.

Mr. Buckler is survived by his son, John Wilson Buckler, Jr.; brother, Elmer Francis Buckler, III; sisters, Connie Hordesty, Judy Regan, and Sherry Marden; and grandchildren, Jamie Buckler, Jeremy Buckler, Haley Buckler, Alanna Buckler, and Ella Hamby.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, with the service beginning at 11:30 AM, at Brinsfield Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.

The committal service will be held at 12:30 PM, Thursday, at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601.
