James B. Raleigh, 73, of North Beach, MD died May 5, 2009 at Calvert Memorial Hospital. He was born February 12, 1936 in Washington DC, the son of James S. and Hilda L. (Bauman) Raleigh.

He is survived by his wife Sharon (Caputo) Raleigh, seven children: Mike (Diana) Raleigh of Huntingtown, Joe (Tracy) Raleigh of Goldsboro, MD, Jerry Raleigh of Lothian, Cheryl Raleigh of Ocean City, Lisa Raleigh of Martinsburg, WV, Jay (Deborah) Raleigh of Owings and Jack (Bobbie Joe) Raleigh of Lothian. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, sisters Jean Parker of Penbrook Pine, FL, Joyce Saine (Joe Danna) of Davidsonville, MD, Janet (Al) Raulin of Myrtle Beach, SC and Judy Canedari of Okeechobee, FL and a brother Jack (Joan) Raleigh of Ft. Laurderdale, FL.
