Christine Boecher, 91 of Mechanicsville, MD died on May 2, 2009 at St. Mary's Nursing Center. Born on March 4, 1918 in Ranstadt, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Johann and Christiane Heun Boecher.

Ms. Boecher has resided in this area since 1994. She immigrated from Germany and obtained her US citizenship in OK in 1982 where she formerly lived in Lawton. She was a Seamstress and enjoyed knitting and gardening.

Survived by her son, Hans and his wife, Heidi Boecher of Mechanicsville, MD, step-daughter, Emmi Wolf of Germany, 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Predeceased by a daughter, Anne Marie Roberts and grandchildren Daniel Roberts and Hans Peter and Kristen Boecher.

Service and Interment Private.
