Tara Lynn Lyon, 30 of Warrenton, VA, passed away on April 27, 2009 at her residence.

Born October 25, 1978 in Clinton, MD, she was the daughter of James W. Lyon and the late Susan Diane Reatherford Lyon.

Ms. Lyon graduated from Chopticon High School in 1997; she was attending ECPI Nursing School and would have graduated in December. Tara was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was a beautiful young woman and an inspiration to all who knew her. She loved being outdoors and spending time with her family.

In addition to her father and his fiancé Edith Elizabeth Murphy, Tara is survived by her three children; Tyler Mudd, Corrina Curtin and Riley Curtin, siblings; A.J. Lyon and wife Danielle, and Sheila Tayman and husband Sam, Jenny Dodson, grandparents;, Kitty Lyon and Margaret and Finley Reatherford, nephews; Samuel and Cole Tayman also survived by many relatives and friends. Tara was preceded in death by her grandfather Bill Lyon.

Family will receive friends for Tara's Life Celebration on Friday, May 1, 2009 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to8pm in the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622, where prayers will be recited a 7pm. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 11am in Hughesville Baptist Church, 8505 Leonardtown Rd., Hughesville, MD 20637. Interment will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.

Pallbearers will be; A.J. Lyon, Jonathan Lyon, Bradley Lyon, Herby Heaton, Danny Lyon, Danny Reatherford, Rusty Reatherford, and Rob Reatherford.
