![]() Rose Ann Robinson, 79, of Waldorf, Maryland passed on April 28, 2009 at Civista Medical Center, in LaPlata, Maryland.
She was born on February 4, 1930 in Oxon Hill, Maryland to the late Francis DeSales and the late Nancy Ann Butler. Rose was a homemaker and enjoyed being in the presence of her family and loved ones. She devotedly raised her children and found joy in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a devoted Catholic her entire life and a member of the St. Joseph's Church Golden Age Group. Some of her hobbies included; playing cards, BINGO, eating crabs, attending gospel programs, and family gatherings. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ernest Louis Robinson; 4 brothers, Oscar, Lawrence, Jenifer, and George; 3 sisters, Lena Savoy, Louise Savoy, and Ida Proctor. She is survived by her 7 children; Linda, Francis, Corrine, Laverne, Patrick Sr., Monica, and Dewayne Sr.; 2 sons in-law, Shelton Mahoney and Horace Bynum; 2 daughters-in-law, Sequita and Joy; 18 grandchildren; Robert Sr., Cindy, Dee Dee, Dionne, Yolanda, Torey, Frankie, Danielle, Timothy, Chelsea, Britney, Beonka, Dewayne Jr., Breonna, Alexus, Renee, Michael Jr., and Patrick Jr.; 15 great grandchildren; a special family friend, Robin Robinson; 4 sisters-in-law, Sylvia, Arlene, Mary, and Norene; 2 brothers-in-law, Levi and Paul Robinson and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday May 2, 2009 from 8:30 to 10:30am at Thornton Funeral Home, 3439 Livingston Road (State Route #227) Indian Head, Maryland. Mass of Christian Burial, 11:30am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 4590 St. Joseph's Way, Pomfret, Maryland. Interment Church Cemetery. Arrangements provided by Thornton Funeral Home. |
