Nicholas Ruzzette Munson, 76, of Mechanicsville, Maryland, passed away on August 24, 2025.

Born on July 26, 1949, in New York to the late Henry and Monique Munson, Nicholas lived a life defined by dedication to his family, his work, and his passions. He married his first wife, Cathy Jordan (now Cathy Busi) and had three sons: Steven Munson and Eric Munson, both of Laurel, Maryland, and the late Anthony Munson, whose memory he carried with enduring love.

He earned a bachelor's degree in college and went on to build a fulfilling career in the construction industry. Known for his strong work ethic and attention to detail, Nicholas took pride in everything he built, both with his hands and in the relationships that he nurtured throughout his life.

A man of many interests, Nicholas found great joy in photography. He had a keen eye for capturing the world's quiet moments—whether through nature, family gatherings, or scenes of daily life—preserving memories with care and artistry.

In 2018, Nicholas married his second wife Naomi, with whom he shared seven meaningful and loving years.

He is survived by his brothers, Henry and Steven Munson, and his sister, Anne Troemner all of New York. His legacy will live on through his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Brinsfield Funeral Home, located at 30195 Three Notch Road in Charlotte Hall, Maryland. A Funeral Service, led by Reverend Joe Orlando, will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place afterward at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman Beantown Road in Waldorf, Maryland.

Nicholas will be remembered for his gentle spirit, unwavering love for his family, and the quiet beauty he found in the world around him. He will be deeply missed.
