Wilson James Moore, age 84, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, just three days shy of his 85th birthday.

Born on July 18, 1940, in Rouses Point, New York, Wilson was the son of the late Clyde and Alice (Parot) Moore. A proud veteran, Wilson served 20 years in the United States Air Force, where he gained experience as a Telephone Plant Maintenance Superintendent and rose to the rank of Master Sergeant. His service was marked by technical expertise, leadership, and a deep sense of duty to his country.

Following his military retirement, Wilson continued his commitment to public service as a telecommunications specialist with the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, where he worked with integrity and dedication until his retirement.

Wilson was married for 34 years to the late Sang Kum Moore, with whom he shared a life of love, partnership, and quiet strength. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Betty Moore (Martell) of Schenectady, New York.

In recent years, Wilson made his home in Charlotte Hall, Maryland, where he enjoyed the company of his son, William J. Moore, who survives him.

Per his wishes, no services are scheduled at this time. Wilson will be remembered as a kind and steady presence whose devotion to his family and his work left a lasting impact.
