Mildred (Midge) Levinia Grimm Baugher Watson, 89, of Charlotte Hall passed away quietly on Friday, April 24, 2009 at the Washington Hospital Center.

Born in McKinley, Virginia September 13, 1919, she was the daughter of Lena and William Grimm. She completed her education in Middlebrook, Virginia and began an extensive working career which included Washington, D.C.'s Main Post Office, Bolling A.F.B., the Pentagon and the Navy Yard. Her main career was Motherhood.

Midge is survived by her daughter, Deborah A. Watson, who lovingly attended to her care and her son, Dr. William L. Baugher and wife Teresa. Their children, Laura Lassiter, Jennifer Reckenwald and husband, William, Linda Baugher, Jonathan Baugher and Midge's great-grandchildren - Hannah, Samuel and Gabriel Lassiter and Michael Recktenwald.

Midge is also survived by her brother, William Grimm, his wife Edith and closest nieces and nephews, Gerry and Tommy McCray and Judy Landes. She is survived by many more nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her sister, Marie Demastus; brother, Lewis Grimm and Ann
Whalen, her faithful caretaker and companion who enjoyed watching the Baltimore Orioles, the Redskins and Dale Earnhart, Jr. with her. Also her week was not complete without her hair appointment with Shannon Cusick.

The family will receive relatives and friends for Midge's Life Celebration on Thursday, April 30, 2009 from 5:00 until 8:00P.M. at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622 where a prayer service will be conducted by Deacon William Kyte at 7:00p.m. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009 from 10:00 to 11:30 A.M. at the Henry Funeral Home, Staunton, VA where a service will be held at 11:30 A.M. The Rev. Burt Sare will officiate. Interment will follow at Augusta Memorial Park, Waynesborough, VA.
