Sylvia Virginia Morgan, 81, of Lexington Park, MD formally of Dowell, MD, passed away on April 20, 2009 at the Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C. She was born on March 23, 1928 in Dowell, MD to the late Alex and Kate Estelle Allan Barrett.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her son Kevin A. Morgan, her brothers Lewis Barrett, Alonzo Barrett, Calvin Barrett, Earl Barrett, and her sisters Maryln Ramsey and Margaret Dare.

Sylvia is the beloved mother of Michael J. Barrett, Sr., of Lexington Park, MD; Herman T. Morgan, of AL; Sharon L. Calvey, of FL; David B. Morgan, of VA; Craig S. Morgan, of Lexington Park, MD; Linda R. Zwak, of Lexington Park, MD; Dennis J. Morgan, of FL and Cathy Morgan, of Lexington Park, MD., sister of Catherine Gentile, of NJ. She is also survived by twenty one grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
