Conrad "Connie" Llewellyn Waby, 91, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 3rd, 2025.

Conrad was one of two children born to FLoyd A. Waby and Elsie (Zemke) Waby on February 9th, 1934 in Kingsbury County, South Dakota. As a child he later moved with his family to Sioux Falls, South Dakota where he spent the rest of his childhood. Conrad later graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. From there he went on to enter the Air Force Reserves and marry and start a family. Over the course of a few years Conrad and his family moved from Wisconsin to Washington, then Idaho, and finally settled in Maryland. He was employed by the Navy working on aircraft carriers and enjoyed coaching many of his childrens' sports teams.

Conrad was the type of person who always loved to laugh and find joy in the little things. He loved his daily runs, eating delicious foods, spending time with family, and being social with anyone and everyone.

Conrad was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Marjorie "Marge" Pruner, and his son Brian Waby. He is survived by his former wife Judith Hansel; his sons Michael Waby and Dennis Waby; his four grandchildren, David Waby, Samantha Waby, Michael Waby, and Megan Gibson; his three great grandchildren Tyler Waby, Devin Waby, and Kali Gibson; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Rausch Funeral Home (4405 Broomes Island Road Port Republic, MD 20676) on Sunday, March 9th from 11 AM to 12 PM. There will be no service.
