Jeanne E. Cross, 86, of Prince Frederick, MD passed away on April 16, 2009 at Calvert County Nursing Center. Jeanne was born on March 10, 1923 in Prince Frederick to the late Alvin Barnes and Etta Sheckells Bowen.

Besides her parents, she is also predeceased by her husband, Edward E. Cross, Jr. who passed away on December 4, 1965, two grandchildren, Kelly Rae and Dana Rae Cross and siblings Amos Bowen, Kenneth M. Bowen, Sheckells Bowen and Clara Belle Cox.

Devoted mother of Joan C. Grover of St. Leonard, MD, Nancy Lee Bowen of Port Republic, MD, Dale Edward Cross of Prince Frederick, MD, and Kevin Blair Cross of Huntingtown, MD. Grandmother of Timothy W. and William W. Grover, Jill Kay Buck,
Jacqueline Sue Monroe, Amanda B. Henderson, Jason E. Cross, Kevin R. and Kyle R.
Greenwell.

She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Tyler C., Tara C., Madison E., and Morgan P. Grover, Rebecca J., Hannah L., and Sarah A. Monroe, Joshua A., and Matthew C. Buck, Cathryn Henderson, Coy J., Lillian P. and Gy C. Greenwell and her brother Lowell H. Bowen of Prince Frederick, MD.

Services were private.
