Charles Wilbur Hutcheson, Colonel US Air Force, Retired, 89, of Solomons, MD formally of Camp Springs, MD passed away on April 10, 2009 at Asbury~Solomons Health Care Center, Solomons, MD.

Mr. Hutcheson was born on December 11, 1919 in Clifton Forge, VA to the late Charles William and Rosa Sutton Hutcheson. Mr. Hutcheson was a World War II Veteran having served his country for twenty four years nine months and five days. He was stationed at Andrews Air Force Base. After his retirement he went to work for the Federal Aviation Administration as an air crash investigator.

Mr. Hutcheson was preceded in death by his loving wife Robbie Cagle Hutcheson.

He is survived by his devoted sons Chuck and his wife Mary Hutcheson of Mechanicsville, VA and Stephen L. Hutcheson of Cold Springs, NY; grandfather of Holly H. and her husband Graham Reese and Charlie R. and his wife Mary Beth Hutcheson; great grandfather of Brenna Reese.
