Born Dec 16, 1939 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina to the late Glenn G. and Lena Lambert Cleaver. Mrs. Cleaver worked as a nurse in the health care profession.

She is survived by her husband Greg D. Perkey of Lusby. She was the mother of: Rob Ballard of Alpharetta Ga., Terry L. Kovacina of Lusby, Tracey K. Eallard of Reston Va., and Barbara Frey of Fair West, Utah. She is further survived by 5 grandchildren: Robert "Carson" Ballard, Stephanie Kovacina, Heather Barwick, Britianey Paris, and Doug VanBuskirk and one brother, Joe Cleaver of Jupiter Florida.
