Geraldine S. "Jerry" Tucker, 94 of Lusby, MD passed away on April 3, 2009 at the Solomons Nursing Center, Solomons, MD. She was born on June 16, 1914 in Michigan.

During World War II, Jerry worked as a welder to support the troops and her country. She retired from the United States Government as a secretary from the Naval Observatory.

Jerry was the devoted wife of the late Herbert A. Tucker.

She is survived by her loving children Dawn Mathews, of Roanoke, VA; Jeanne Fenner, of Elm City, NC; Mary C. Russell, of Mt Airy, MD; Herbert A. Tucker, III, of St. Leonard, MD; Gerald A. Tucker, of Lusby, MD and Dennis E. Tucker, of Dowell, MD. She is also survived by twenty three Grandchildren, numerous Great Grandchildren and three Great-Great Grandchildren.
