Edward Brady, 86, of La Plata, MD, died March 31, 2009, at his residence in La Plata, MD.

Mr. Brady was a master machinist for over 30 years for the Ford Motor Company in Illinois. He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Plata. He was also a member of the 2-N-1 Club of La Plata. He loved square dancing and polka dancing. Was a member of the Swingin' Seniors Dance Group and enjoyed being with friends and family.

Son of the late Thomas J. Brady and the late Bridgett Reilly Brady.

Predeceased by his parents; his late wife Beth (Betty) Burns Brady.

Survived by two brothers, Thomas (Mary) Brady and Sean Brady both of Ireland; two sisters, Mary Donoghue of England and Catherine Gannon of MD; seven nieces, six nephews, three grandnieces, and three grandnephews. He will be sorely missed by all his family and friends in Ireland and his best friend, Mary Deanie Fairfax of La Plata, MD.

Visitation: Friday, April 3, 2009, from 5-8PM with prayers at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, April 4, 2009, at 10AM, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, La Plata, MD.

Clergy: Father Fred MacIntyre.

Interment: Church cemetery.
