Michael Richard Elbon, 61 of Leonardtown, MD passed away on September 6, 2024 at home.

He was born on December 12, 1962 in the Republic of the Congo, Africa to Samuel B. Elbon and Mary Anne Crist.

Michael grew up in Annandale, VA. He graduated from Lake Braddock High School in Virginia. He resided in St. Mary's County having moved from Northern Virginia four years ago. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for his entire career. He was a free spirit and lived life to the fullest. He was an outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.

Michael is survived by his sister, Cathy Anne Costabile (Chris) of Lusby, MD, brother, Dan Elbon (Lauren) of Centreville, VA; nieces and nephews, Brett, Alison, Holly, Victoria, Tucker, Ryan, Maggie, Joy, and Jack.

Services will be held privately.
