Bruce Erwin Gullixon, 54, of Seaford DE, formerly of La Plata, MD, died March 26, 2009, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, MD.

Mr. Gullixon was a produce manager for Safeway Food Stores for 37 years. He was a member of the Solid Rock Church in Greenbelt, MD. He enjoyed kayaking, fishing, dancing and singing. He was very involved with helping with ministries through his church and he loved his dog, Kizzy.

Born February 1, 1955, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Eugene Arnold Gullixon and the late Gertrude Korbel Gullixon.

Survived by daughter, Jessica Gullixon and her fiancé Darren Sanders of La Plata, MD; twin brother, Barry and his wife Vicki Gullixon of PA; step-brother, Hank Dent of La Plata, MD; step-sisters, Lorraine Stone of Waldorf, MD; and Debbie San Luis of La Plata, MD; nephew, Brian Gullixon; step-mother, Lillie Mae Pickeral Gullixon of Indian Head, MD.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 2, 2009, from 5-8PM and on Friday, April 3, 2009, from 10-11AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

Funeral Service will be on Friday, April 3, 2009, at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Rev. Bruce Jones will officiate.

Interment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
