Bessie Ann "Betsy" Lee, 81, of St. Mary's County, MD, formerly of Easley, SC, passed away on June 13, 2024, at her home. Born on November 20, 1942, in Salem, SC, she was the daughter of the late Inez Frona Cannon Ramey and Steven Elisha Ramey. Betsy is survived by her daughter, Judy Reabe (Bart) of Hollywood, MD, two grandchildren Ashley White (Matthew), Megan Foster (Tyler), and one great grandchild, Lilliann. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Bonnie Waddell, Willie Ramey, Willis Ramey, and Essie Dale Ramey.

Betsy moved to from Easley, SC to St. Mary's County, MD in 2019, and was a customer service representative for Walmart, retiring after 25 years of service. She enjoyed a fulfilling career at Walmart for 25 years; her hard work and dedication were evident in her many awards and accomplishments. Outside of work she cherished her friends at Victory Woods and looked forward to Wii bowling every week and enjoyed sewing.

Betsy was deeply loved by her family, including her grandchildren, great grandchild, and her beloved four-legged grandchildren, Shadow and Charlie.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Victory Woods Apartments, Lexington Park, MD. A Graveside Service will be held on July 19, 2024, at 3:00 PM in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Easley, SC.
