James Hayden Morgan, 84 of Charlotte Hall, MD passed away on April 29, 2024 in Prince Frederick, MD. James was born to James Daniel Morgan and Mary Louise Wathen on September 25, 1939 in Helen, MD.

After school, James began his career in landscaping, first as a Foreman for Penn Line and later as a Landscape Designer for Wentworth Nursery in Charlotte Hall, MD.

James married his wife of 64 years, Ella Morgan on June 4, 1960 in Leonardtown, MD. James and Ella were blessed with five children, Shelba Hill of Port Tobacco, MD, James Morgan II of King George, VA, Colleen Morgan of Leonardtown, MD, Wanda Brash and son-in-Law, Larry Brash of Charlotte Hall, MD and Janeen Morgan of Lexington Park, MD. In his free time James enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAAR. He never got bored with watching a good race especially if Dale Earnhardt, Sr. or Dale Earnhardt, Jr. were racing. James was a kindhearted person who would help anyone in need. He was a hard worker who loved his family. James was predeceased by his parents, sister Barbara Lewis, his brother, Ralph Morgan of Mechanicsville, Grandson James Wathen and Great Granddaughter Gwendolyn DuPont.

He is survived by his beloved wife and children, brother Ray Morgan of Waldorf, MD, Brenda Carlee of Jacksonville, FL, and Irma Morgan of Morganza, MD, thirteen Grandchildren and eleven Great Grandchildren as well as many friends.

The Family will receive friends on May 13, 2024 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the Brinsfield Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A. 30195 Three Notch Road, Charolotte Hall, MD 20622.

Interment will follow at Charles Memorial Gardens, 26325 Point Lookout Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650.
