Born August 20, 1939 in Washington, D.C. to the late John and Hazel Ryan Benton. Predeceased by 3 husbands, 2 children, 2 grandchildren, 1 brother and 1 sister. Survived by her children: Peter Karis of Lusby, Bubba Karis of St. Leonard, Sissy Coleman of St. Leonard, Mark Karis of Germantown, Clara Leebrick of Wheeling WV., and Lelia Blankenship of St. Leonard. She is further survived by 16 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Barbara Jean Wall of Laurel and Joyce Ann Andrews of Lusby; and 1 brother; Jo Jo Carroll of Virginia.
