Irene was born Oct 9, 1910 in Broomes Island Md. to the late Peter B. and Emma Ramsey Dove. She and her husband Rupert owned and operated Olsen's Grocery in Solomons, which later became Woodburn's. She never had children, but was a mother to all her nieces and nephews.
