Shirley N. Choiniere, 73, of La Plata, MD passed away on March 9, 2009 at Civista Medical Center.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Leonard and Tima Ashford. Brothers; James Ashford and Leon Ashford.

She is survived by her Sons; Albert Tobey and Wife Dorothy and Noel Tobey and Wife Sandy. Daughter; Bonita Callow and Husband Robert. Brother Melton "Gub" Ashford and Wife Cleta Faye. Sisters; Sylvia Wenholz, and Margaret Wells and Husband Dorsey. Grandchildren; David Tobey, Kevin Tobey, Sara Callow, and Jay Callow. Great Grandchildren; Hannah Tobey and Taylor Tobey.

She enjoyed playing the Piano, Organ, and the Accordion. She was a talker and and a Homebody.

A viewing will be on Friday, March 13, 2009 from 10 am until time of Life Celebration Service at 12 noon at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. The Reverend Ken McDonald will officiate. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.
