Lity Gean Thompson, Jr., 50, of Lexington Park, MD peacefully entered into eternal rest on August 26, 2023.

He was born on August 14, 1973 in New Orleans, LA to the late Lity Gean Thompson, Sr. and Ruthie Jean Harris Bond of Lexington Park, MD.

Lity was born and raised in Louisiana and moved to Southern Maryland in 2007. He is a 1991 graduate of Ocean Side High School in Oceanside, CA. He was employed by Curtis Tire Center in Lexington Park, MD as a skilled mechanic. He enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles and loved riding his motorcycle. He was a delicious cook and made excellent gumbo. He was a fan of the Oakland Raiders football team. His greatest love was for his family, especially his sons. He was a devoted and loving son and father.

He is survived by his mother, Ruthie Bond and father, Charles Bond of Lexington Park, MD; his children: Sean Smith, Cole Lity Thompson, and Lity Gean Thompson, III; and his brother, Gyasi "J.Z. Bond of Lexington Park, MD. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Wilma Delores Bond of Baltimore, MD; aunts/uncles: Elizabeth Scott, Beverly Landry, Betty Rollins, Thomas Harris (Debra), Linnell Harris, Michael Robinson (Bonita), Calvin Bond and Sabrina Jackson (Robert); Tena Rollins Foster and many more cousins. Ex-wife Laura Renee Thompson (Baugher) also survives him. In addition to his father, Lity G. Thompson, Sr., he is also preceded in death by his brother, Leonard Gean Thompson and maternal grandmother, Dorothy Lee Harris.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service celebrated at 1:00 p.m., at Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A., 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. Interment will be private.
