Lorraine A. Ankenbrandt, 82, of St. Leonard, MD passed away on August 22, 2023 in St. Leonard, MD. Lorraine was born on November 3, 1940 in Pine Grove, PA to George and Verna Ankenbrandt. She dedicated her life to helping others who could not help themselves as a RN. After retiring from the healthcare industry she loved to spend her time with her family and friends. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents and her son James E. DeBoard, Jr. She is survived by her daughters Sheryl Lewis of Lusby, MD and Michele Byron of Rondanthe, NC. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Daniel and Jonathan Kinkade, Kristin Buckmaster, and Mark Tucker, Jr. In addition to her grandchildren she leaves behind three great-grandchildren, Noah and Birdie Kinkade, Eleanor Buckmaster.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, August 25, 2023 at the Rausch Funeral Home of Port Republic, MD from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Matthew Borrasso officiating. Interment will take place on Monday August 28, 2023 at St. Mark's Browns Cemetery in Schuylkill Haven, PA.
