Michael Louis "Mike/Big Daddy" Wagner, 87, of Waterloo, SC and formerly of Clinton, MD, passed away on August 21, 2023. Born April 30, 1936 in Columbus, MS, he was the son of the late Vernon Phillip Wagner and Mamie Lou (Fortenberry) Wagner.

Mike served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He was proud to have served on the USS Ross (DD-563). Mike enjoyed karaoke, watching Redskin games, hunting, motorcycles and family gatherings.

Mike is survived by his wife, Joan W. Burnette of Waterloo, SC; his children, Michael L. Wagner, Jr. of Lusby, MD, Cheryl Houchen (Steve) of Lusby, MD, Mark Wagner (Genny) of Greenwood, SC, Michelle Moore (Rick) of Brandywine, MD and Lorraine Davis (Jim – deceased) of Lusby, MD; step-son, Phillip Malpass; grandchildren, Tina Garner, Angie Kazimer, Mark Wagner, Jr., Lori Krotendofer, Bliss Cain and Shannon Howell; and ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his step-children, LuAnn Tilley and Ronnie Malpass; and siblings, Marlyn Wagner and Jeanette Wagner.
