![]() Nell Marie Andrewlevick, 79, of Prince Frederick, MD passed away on March 7, 2009 in Calvert Memorial Hospital.
Nell Marie Lambert was born July 1, 1929, in Adamsville, Tennessee to the late Douglas Guy and Virgie Moore Lambert. She is predeceased by brothers Carlos and Jerry Lambert. After completing high school, she joined the Army in 1951 and was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky with the 101st Airborne Division. She was then transferred to Heidelberg, Germany, where she worked as a postal clerk. She and her husband were married October 3, 1953 in Heidelberg, Germany. Marie worked as a postal clerk in Prince Frederick, Maryland until her retirement in 1992. She enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening and traveling. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, and especially loved seeing her five great grandchildren. She was a member of St. John Vianney Church and served on the Bereavement Committee. Marie will be greatly missed by her family, extended family and many friends. Marie is survived by her husband Leonard E. "Andy" Andrewlevick, CWO US Army Ret., mother of Ronald D. Andrewlevick and his wife Sue of Dahlonega GA, Susan M. Allen and her husband Stewart of Chesterfield, Va. And Michael P. Andrewlevick and his wife Julie of St. Leonard, MD. Grandmother of Sonya Watts, Dawn Mills, Nick Langley, Jana Langley and Michael Allen and great grandmother of 5, she is also survived by 2 brothers, Joe and Donnie Lambert and a sister Bettye Fisher. The family will receive friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, P.A., 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD on Wednesday March 11, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday March 12, 2009, 11 A.M. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Prince Frederick, MD. Interment will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham MD on Tuesday March 17, 2009 , 10 A.M. with Army Honors.
