Carl "Mike" Schroeder 76 of LaPlata, MD passed away on Thursday July 13, 2023.

Mike was born on May 17, 1947 in Washington, DC to the late Fredrick and Charlotte Schroeder. He is also predeceased by his sisters, Judy LoBianco and Ruth Fantozzi.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Schroeder; daughter, Melissa Miller (Clinton); grandson, Trent Miller; sisters, Kara Mayhew (George), Tina Foreman and Lori Allen (Ben) and many nieces and nephews.

Mike spent his career as an Ironworker for Local # 5. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post 82. Mike enjoyed golfing, fishing and all things outdoors.

Mike will have a Celebration of his life on Wednesday August 9, 2023 at 11:30am until 3 PM at the American Legion Post 82 (6330 Crain Hwy. LaPlata, MD 20646).
