Alice Faye Anderson of St. Leonard, MD died March 1, 2009 at Calvert Memorial Hospital. She was born in Washington, DC August 27, 1948 the daughter of the late Melvin and Viola Mae Whitt Costello.

Alice received her education in Bladensburg, MD and attended Bladensburg High School. She worked as a compassionate caketaker for the elderly. Alice was a known prankster and possessed a terrific sense of humor.

She is survived by her children Laura Ann Spears and her husband Chad of Waco, TX; Angela Lynn Blair and her husband Marc of Richmond Hill, GA; Angle Renea Anderson of Austin TX and the late Michael Ray Anderson. Eight grandchildren Matthew Costello, Aerial, Victoria, Sienna and Ciaràn Blair, Kylen Burney and Tyson and Austin Jones. A sister Marsha Granados and her husband Ray of Lusby, MD. A brother Kenneth Melvin Costello and his wife Grace of Warrenton, VA as well as many nieces and nephews.
