Kenneth Raymond Runyan, 71, of Leonardtown, MD died February 23, 2009 at his residence.

Born December 28, 1937 in Oakwood, IL, he was the son of the late Raymond Roland Runyan and Millie Agnes (Miller) Runyan.

Kenneth was a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Air Force. He served from 1963 until 1981. After his retirement from the service, he was an electrical engineer for the Civil Service.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Gloria Ann Runyan, his sons; Mark Runyan and James Runyan of CO, and Michael Runyan of Leonardtown, MD, siblings; Charles Runyan and Jean Henderson of Peoria, IL, and Robert Runyan of Cuba, IL, and two grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 7, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 22500 Point Lookout Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
