William Edward "Billy" Collins, age 23, died February 22, 2009 at Calvert Memorial Hospital, Prince Frederick, MD. He was born November 15, 1985 in Annapolis, MD and raised in Breezy Point, Chesapeake Beach, MD.

He attended Beach Elementary and graduated from Calvert High School in Prince Frederick, MD. He also attended the College of Southern Maryland. A part-time student, he was an assistant manager at his family owned "Scoops by the Bay" ice cream shop in Chesapeake Beach and an assistant foreman in a family owned flooring business in Florida. In his spare time Billy enjoyed working out at the gym and sports, especially baseball and basketball. He was very artistic, and also enjoyed writing. He loved animals, was close to his family, and was known for his good nature and sportsmanship.

He is survived by his parents William A. and Eileen Sullivan Collins of Breezy Point; half sisters Stacy Warren and Carrie Scheuer, both of Bristol, TN.

He is also survived by a niece Brittany Scheuer, several aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Edward and Kathleen Sullivan and William J. and Eileen S. Collins.
