Nancy Ann Watson of Prince Frederick, MD, loving wife and mother of three children, went home to our Lord on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at the age of 86. She is survived by two children, Cheryl Lynn Horrocks (children Rodney (RJ) and Kristy and Scott Allan Watson (wife Shannon, children Brandon wife Hannah, Logan, and Keirsten). She was preceded in death by her mother, Clairabel Comperetto, her husband James Kenneth Watson, and her daughter Karen Ann Smith (children Danny and Aaron). Nancy also has 14 great grandchildren: RJ (wife Lindsey, children Kaylea, Kolton), Kristy (husband Eric, children Zackary, Emily), Aaron (wife Lyndsey, children Brayden, Quinn, Camden), and Danny (wife Rachel, children Tanner, Logan, Nathan, Kylee, Parker, Cole, Jaxson)

Nancy never left the house until her makeup was on, not a hair out of place and matching from head to toe. Nancy was known for her beautiful outfits, never seeing her wear the same outfit twice. Always beautifully dressed no matter the occasion, going to craft fairs, eating crabs or just staying home.

She had many talents, but her passion was spending time with her sister Carol, shopping, more shopping, cooking, crocheting, playing the piano and painting. She was very active in the Calvert County Lions/Lioness Club and Grace Brethren Church. She loved to decorate and did the majority of decorating for many Lions Club functions. Once given a project, she never stopped until it was completed to perfection.

She suffered with dementia for the last 8 years. She stayed tough and strong through it all. She always had the will and heart to push on. She was a true fighter and fought until her last breath. She could never be accused of giving up.

A celebration of her life and luncheon will occur after the interment service in the church multipurpose facility. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Dementia Society of America or the Cure Alzheimer's Fund at the links below.
