On Friday, January 27, 2023, Donald Edward "Eddie" Stamp, departed this life.

Born on Saturday, December 15, 1951, at Prince George's County Hospital, Cheverly, Maryland. Eddie was the 4th child of 6 children born to George Edward "Eddie" Stamp and Helen (Montgomery Simmons) Stamp.

Eddie grew up in Forestville Maryland and attended Forestville Elementary, Spalding Jr. High and Suitland Sr. High accumulating many life-long friends along the way, including Howdy Moore, who he had been best friends with since first grade.

Eddie had a love of sports, especially baseball. He was a gifted baseball player and almost made it to semi-pro. He loved the game and passed that love on to his children.

In his professional career, Eddie was in the Graphic Arts Union for 40 years and worked at Kelly Press, Inc. for 33 years, where he developed great friendships with co-workers and the Kelly Family. It's there that he met his wife Kathy of 37 years.

In recent years, he enjoyed playing golf with his sons and many friends. He enjoyed crabbing and hosting crab feasts in his backyard. His proudest and greatest accomplishments were his children, he always enjoyed being a Dad and spending time with his children.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son Ryan, his loving parents, Eddie and Helen Stamp, his brothers, George, Bobby, Lindy and brother-in-law Denny Kiley. He is survived by his devoted wife Kathy, his children, Erin and Eric, and siblings, Brenda Kiley and Susan Stamp Anderson and many Brother-in-laws, Sister-in-laws, and much-loved nieces and nephews.
