Ronald "Pops" Eugene Conover, 75, of La Plata, passed away peacefully at his home January 3rd, 2023, surrounded by family.

He was born January 11th, 1947, in Pennsylvania, the son of Robert "John" and Wanda Conover. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, James "Jimmy" Garner and William "Bill" Goode.

Ronald was a graduate of Lackey Highschool in 1967 and was a retired US Government employee, of NRL. He was a devoted Washington Redskins fan, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and working on a farm. He loved spending time with his family, watching his grandchildren grow up, listening to oldies, talking about cars, and telling stories about going out on the town when he was "in his prime" younger days.

He is survived by, his wife, Linda, his children: Melinda, Teresa (Monty), Ronald Jr. "Ronnie," Ronda (Kevin) and Michael (Haley,) his grandchildren: Andrew, Brent, Michael, Logan, Devin, Sue, Shane, Kaylee, Cameron, Bentley, Colt, and Blakelyn, his siblings: Bonnie Lou, Robert Jr. "Bob", Gary (Kathy), and David (Connie) and his great grandchildren: Madelyn, and Aubrey.

Ronald was loved by all who met him, and this loss will leave a void in everyone's hearts. We will miss you so much.
